Tommy was at a birthday party in the park. The sun was shining brightly, and colorful balloons danced in the breeze. Children laughed and played around him, their cheerful voices filling the air.
"Wow, look at all the candy!" Tommy exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement. The picnic table was laden with sugary treats—candies of all colors, a big cake with rainbow frosting, and bottles of fizzy soda.
Tommy couldn't resist the temptation and began eating candy after candy. The sweet taste made him smile, and he washed it down with gulps of soda. His friends joined him, each one enjoying the sugary delights.
"These are the best!" he said, his mouth full of candies. Tommy felt like he was in candy heaven and wanted more.
After some time, Tommy started feeling strange. His stomach began to hurt, and he felt dizzy. The world around him seemed to spin, and he sat down on the grass, holding his tummy.
"I don't feel so good," he muttered, realizing he had eaten too much sugar. His friends gathered around him, concerned.
Tommy's best friend, Lucy, sat beside him. "Too much candy isn't good for you, Tommy," she said kindly. Lucy explained how too much sugar could make you feel sick and harm your body.
Tommy listened, nodding his head. He realized that eating a lot of sweets wasn't as fun as he thought it would be.
The next day, Tommy was in his kitchen with his mom. They were making a healthy snack together—cutting juicy apples and sweet bananas.
"These taste great, and they're good for me," he said, feeling proud of his healthy choice. Tommy decided that from now on, he'd enjoy fruits and nuts instead of candies.
Tommy felt better and more energetic. He played with his friends in the park, running and laughing without any tummy ache.
"I'm glad I learned my lesson," he thought, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Tommy knew that sometimes, making the right choice was the sweetest thing of all.
