Tom, a wide-eyed 6-year-old boy, bounces on his toes, barely able to contain his excitement. The air feels crisp and full of promise as his mother helps him zip up his coat. "I can’t wait to see all the places and try every kind of ride!"
Tom peers out the window, his nose pressed to the glass as fields and towns blur past. He waves at a passing cow and giggles when the whistle blows. "Trains go so fast! I feel like I’m flying already," he exclaims, sharing his joy with the friendly conductor who passes by, tipping his hat.
Tom clambers up the steps, clutching his ticket tight. He chooses a window seat, legs dangling as he gazes at the world whizzing by. "Look at all the people! Buses are like moving houses with lots of friends inside," he marvels, grinning at an elderly lady who offers him a sweet.
Onboard a little ferry, Tom leans over the rail, watching the ripples swirl below. The boat rocks gently, making him laugh as his red cap nearly blows away in the breeze. "I’ve never been on a boat before! It’s like riding a giant fish," he shouts, eyes wide with wonder.
Tom pedals a small blue bicycle, his cheeks flushed with effort and delight. His laughter rings out as he races a friendly dog, the wind tugging at his sleeves. "Bikes are the best! I can go anywhere I want," he calls, feeling free and unstoppable.
Strapped into his seat beside the window, Tom squeezes his mother’s hand as the engines roar to life. The world drops away beneath him, clouds floating like cotton outside. "I’m above the clouds! I can see the whole world," he whispers, eyes shining with amazement.
Tom[/@ch_1] returns home. The familiar sight of his house, porch light twinkling, feels warm and welcoming.]
Tom drags his suitcase up the steps, exhausted but happy. He hugs his mother tightly, eyes already closing as he remembers each ride. "Today was the best adventure ever. I saw so much, and I can’t wait to travel again!"
