Sam was small, with bright eyes full of curiosity, and always wore a blue cap. Beside him sat Alex, taller and thoughtful, with unruly brown hair and a warm smile.
"Alex, do you want to build a fort with me?"
"Of course, Sam! Let’s make it the best fort ever,"
Sam carefully stacks sticks, but some keep tumbling down. Alex steadies the pile, encouraging his friend.
"Don’t worry, Sam. If we work together, we can do anything,"
Sam feels tears prick his eyes as he sees their fort ruined and his cap dirty. He sits down, feeling defeated.
"Everything is ruined, Alex. I don’t even want to try anymore,"
"Sam, real friends help each other when things are tough,"
"Let’s rebuild together. It will be even better than before. I’m not giving up, and neither should you,"
Sam beams at Alex, grateful for his kindness and encouragement.
"Thanks, Alex. You’re the best friend anyone could have,"
"You’re my best friend too, Sam. Together, we can do anything,"
Their voices blend with the sounds of nature, echoing the lesson they’ve learned. True friends support each other, especially when things get difficult. Working together and never giving up makes their bond even stronger.
