Sae, a timid boy with a kind heart, carefully wraps a cake in a checkered cloth, his mind set on delivering it to his ailing grandmother. His mother’s gentle reminder echoes in his mind as he steps out onto the lively streets, his footsteps light and purposeful.
As Sae walks, he suddenly encounters Shidou, a handsome, tan-skinned young man with a mischievous smile. "Let’s have a fight!" he declares, his eyes gleaming with a playful challenge.
Sae hesitates, then shakes his head. "I’m sorry, I have to deliver something important," he replies, quickening his pace. But Shidou persists, his laughter echoing through the trees.
Desperate to rid himself of Shidou's antics, Sae stops, removes a shoe, and hurls it at his pursuer. Shidou dodges, laughing even harder. "Will we meet again?" he calls after Sae, who turns and shouts, "No, please don’t ever see me again!"
Inside, Sae tends to his grandmother, his voice soft and comforting. Unbeknownst to him, Shidou has followed the trail of the discarded shoe and now stands outside, contemplating his next move.
Shidou enters, respectfully removing his shoes at the door. With a theatrical flair, he performs three somersaults, landing gracefully before Sae’s grandmother. "I have come to ask for Sae's hand in marriage," he announces, presenting a modest dowry with a flourish.
Sae is taken aback, but his grandmother chuckles warmly. "This is the perfect match for my grandson," she muses, seeing the spark of adventure that Shidou brings to their lives.
Sae and Shidou stand hand in hand, their differences now a source of strength and harmony. Together, they embrace the beauty of their unexpected connection, ready to face whatever adventures the future holds.
