Viva sat on her bed, her eyes still sleepy but sparkling with excitement. Today was a special day; her mumma had promised to style her hair differently. Viva always wore her hair in two ponytails, bobbing happily as she skipped through her day.
Mumma gently brushed Viva's hair, humming a sweet melody. "Today, let's try something new!" she said, tying Viva's hair into a single side ponytail. Viva stared at her reflection, puzzled by the missing ponytail that usually adorned the other side of her head.
Viva began her quest, determined to find her missing ponytail. She opened every drawer, peeked under the couch, and even checked the garden, her mind whirling with possibilities. "It must be here somewhere," she whispered to herself, trying on various hair accessories, but nothing felt quite right.
Mumma watched Viva flit about, her little face a mix of determination and confusion. "What are you looking for, my dear?" she asked gently. "My other ponytail, Mumma! It's gone!" Viva replied, her voice tinged with urgency.
Mumma smiled and took Viva's hand. "Let's find that missing ponytail together," she said, guiding her back to the mirror. With practiced hands, Mumma swiftly divided Viva's hair into two bouncy ponytails. "There you go, my darling," she declared.
Viva gazed at her reflection, a radiant smile spreading across her face. "Thank you, Mumma! I found it!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with happiness. With her two ponytails back in place, Viva felt complete, ready to take on the adventures of the day.
