Wanda the Worrying Whale floated near the surface, surrounded by tiny bubbles that tickled her sides. Today was a special day—the day of the Great Coral Concert. But instead of feeling excited, Wanda felt a flutter of worry in her belly. "What if I mess up?" she sighed, watching the playful dolphins leap nearby.
Finn the Friendly Fish swam up to Wanda, his scales glinting in the light. "Why the long face, Wanda?" he asked, offering a reassuring smile. Wanda looked down at her fins. "I’m worried about singing for everyone. What if I forget the words or sing off-key?" Finn chuckled softly, "Even the best singers make mistakes, but that’s what makes it fun! Just think of it as an adventure."
Finn nudged Wanda playfully. "Let’s practice together. I’ll be right by your side," he said. Wanda took a deep breath, feeling a little braver. They swam around, singing joyful tunes and laughing at their silly mistakes. "See? We’re having our own little concert," Finn exclaimed.
Wanda swam to the center of the stage, her heart pounding. But then she saw Finn waving at her from the crowd, cheering her on. "I can do this," she whispered to herself, feeling the warmth of her friend’s support. She opened her mouth and began to sing, her voice blending beautifully with the ocean’s natural melody.
Wanda felt a rush of happiness as she sang her final note. Her worries had floated away like bubbles, replaced by the joy of sharing her song. Finn swam up to her, eyes twinkling with pride. "You did it, Wanda! You turned your what-ifs into a wonderful adventure!" Wanda beamed, "Thank you, Finn. I couldn’t have done it without you."
Wanda and Finn floated together, watching the coral glow in the evening light. "I learned something today," Wanda said softly. "What’s that?" Finn asked. "That sometimes, facing your worries can lead to the most wonderful adventures," Wanda replied. And with that, they drifted off into the gentle lull of the ocean, dreaming of more adventures to come.
