Mum sat on the couch, smiling at Tommy, her curious toddler. He clutched his favorite teddy bear, looking up with wide eyes. "Tommy, you're going to be a big brother soon," she announced cheerfully.
Tommy tilted his head, pondering the news. "How did the baby get in your belly, Mum?" he asked with innocent curiosity. "Well, it's like planting a seed in the garden," Mum explained. "Daddy and I planted a special seed, and now it's growing into a baby."
Mum and Dad were busy setting up the nursery as Tommy watched with fascination. "Things will change a bit when the baby arrives," Dad remarked. "You'll have to share your toys and help us take care of the baby."
Tommy giggled as Dad lifted him onto a chair to help with baking. "Can I teach the baby my favorite game?" Tommy asked, his face lighting up. "Of course! The baby will learn so much from you," Mum replied, handing him a cookie cutter.
Mum gently placed Tommy's hand on her belly, where a tiny kick could be felt. "That's your sibling saying hello," she laughed softly. "I can't wait to meet them," Tommy said, eyes twinkling with anticipation.
Mum and Dad stood with Tommy, admiring the nursery. "Our family is growing, and it will be so much fun," Dad said, wrapping an arm around Mum. "I promise to be the best big brother ever," Tommy declared, hugging his stuffed bear tightly.
