Amin, a lively seven-year-old with sparkling eyes, sits near the front, his feet barely touching the floor. The classroom feels safe and warm, filled with the scent of crayons and paper. At the front, Mrs. Erickson stands with a kind smile, holding a stack of colorful cards.
Mrs. Erickson, Teacher: Warm and encouraging, always wears bright scarves and glasses.
"Good morning, class! Today, I want to know—when you grow up, what do you want to be?"
One by one, hands shoot up into the air. There’s a quiet excitement as children imagine their futures. Amin raises his hand, his heart pounding with hope and pride.
"Amin, would you like to share with the class?"
"When I grow up, I want to be a soccer player!"
His words hang in the air, full of energy and enthusiasm. The students murmur with interest, and a few heads nod in agreement.
Amin can almost hear the roar of the crowd and feel the sun on his face. He dribbles the ball with skill and speed, weaving past imaginary defenders. The thrill of the game fills his heart with joy.
"That’s wonderful, Amin! Soccer players work hard and never give up. I believe you can do it if you practice and keep believing in yourself."
"Thank you, Mrs. Erickson! I’m going to practice every day," Amin replies, his voice filled with determination.
Amin feels a spark of hope light up inside him. As he leaves the classroom, he knows that, with every kick and every dream, he is one step closer to becoming the soccer player he wants to be.
