Willow the Rabbit peeked out from her cozy burrow beneath a sprawling oak, her nose twitching at the scent of fresh clover. All around, the forest was waking up, and she felt a flutter of excitement for the adventures the day might bring. "I wonder what surprises today will hold," she mused aloud, her whiskers quivering in anticipation.
Finn the Fox, sleek and red, emerged from the underbrush, carrying a mouthful of wild strawberries. He greeted Willow with a cheerful nod. "Good morning, Willow! I saved a few berries for you," he offered, dropping the fruit at her paws. "Thank you, Finn! You're always so thoughtful," she replied warmly, sharing a laugh as they sat together in the sun.
Olive the Owl, wise and watchful, swooped down to perch on a low branch above the friends. Her feathers ruffled in the breeze as she delivered her message. "Storm's coming fast. Best find shelter soon, little ones," she hooted, her amber eyes glinting with concern.
Willow and Finn exchanged worried glances before darting toward Willow's burrow. Lightning forked in the sky, and thunder rumbled overhead. "Hurry, Willow! The rain's getting heavier," called Finn, his tail streaming behind him as they dashed beneath the roots.
Willow, Finn, and Olive huddled together, sharing the berries and stories to pass the time. "It's nice to be together when the world gets stormy," said Willow, her voice soft and grateful. "Even the wildest winds pass, and the sun always returns," Olive replied, her wisdom bringing comfort.
Finn bounded out first, shaking water from his fur, while Willow hopped after him, both blinking in the bright new light. Birds sang again, and the friends marveled at how beautiful the world looked after the storm. "Every adventure is better when shared," Willow declared, her heart full of joy as they set off together, ready for whatever the day might bring next.
