Lila, a curious and cheerful girl, wriggled a bit under her blanket. She felt a little funny in her tummy and wondered why her body was acting so strange. Her mom, Dr. Maya, sat down beside her, smoothing Lila’s hair and offering a reassuring smile.
"Mommy, why do I feel like I might throw up when I’m sick?"

"That’s a great question, Lila! Sometimes, tiny germs sneak into our bodies and try to make us feel yucky," she began, her voice gentle. Dr. Maya made the toy germ do a silly dance, and Lila giggled, momentarily forgetting her uneasy tummy. "Our bodies are very clever, and they have special ways to get rid of those bad germs."
Lila imagined tiny superheroes zooming around inside her. She pictured them blowing trumpets and shouting, "Let’s get those pesky germs out of here!" The superheroes gathered the bad germs and sent a message to the brain: it was time to use the body’s special ‘germ-removal’ power.
Dr. Maya[/@ch_2] leaned in, her eyes twinkling with kindness. She gently squeezed Lila’s hand, making her feel safe and cared for.]
"When your body feels germs in your tummy, it sometimes needs to get rid of them fast," she explained. "Throwing up is your body’s quick way of saying, ‘Out you go, germs!’ It might feel icky, but it helps you get better." Lila nodded, understanding a little more.

"You’re so brave, Lila. After you throw up, your body feels a bit better because it’s working hard to make you healthy again," she said warmly. Lila smiled, feeling proud of her body’s superhero powers. "Thank you, Mommy. Next time I feel sick, I’ll remember my body is helping me,"
Dr. Maya watched over her, brushing a strand of hair from Lila’s forehead. The room was peaceful, filled with love and the soft promise of feeling better soon. Outside, the birds sang a lullaby, and the world felt safe and warm.
