Lennon bounced with excitement, her tiny boots crunching in the snow as Eden toddled close behind, clutching a little red mitten in each hand.
"Catch me if you can, Eden!" Lennon called out, her laughter ringing through the park.
"Snow, snow!" Eden chirped, her eyes wide with delight as she stumbled after her sister.
Lennon knelt down, her small hands expertly packing snow into a ball. "Eden, look! Let's make a snowman!"
Eden clapped her hands, mimicking her sister's actions with a gleeful squeal.
"You do the tummy, Eden," Lennon instructed, her voice full of the authority of a big sister.
Eden giggled, patting the snow firmly, adding her own little touch to their creation.
Lennon wrapped the scarf around the snowman's neck, stepping back to admire their handiwork. "There! He's perfect!"
Eden nodded, her cheeks rosy from the cold, "Pretty!" she declared, pointing at the snowman's bright orange nose.
Lennon flopped onto the snow, "Today was the best, Eden."
Eden snuggled close to her sister, her eyes reflecting the soft light of the setting sun, "Love you, Len."
The sisters lingered a moment longer, their hearts warm despite the chilly air, before heading home, leaving behind footprints and the jolly snowman who watched over the park.
