Nova clutched her teddy bear tightly as she walked hand-in-hand with her mother, her eyes wide with wonder and apprehension. The city was so different from the small town she had left behind, its enormity both thrilling and intimidating.
Nova sat on the edge of her bed, surrounded by her scattered belongings. "Why does everything feel so strange here, Mom?" she asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty. Her mother smiled reassuringly, "It's okay to feel that way, sweetheart. Give it time, and soon this place will feel like home."
As Nova gazed out the window, her eyes locked onto the luminous star. She closed her eyes tightly and whispered, "I wish for a friend and a sense of belonging in this new place." The star seemed to twinkle in response, as if acknowledging her heartfelt plea.
In her dreams, Nova found herself wandering through a magical world. She met a friendly unicorn who bowed its head in greeting and a group of talking flowers that giggled as she passed. "You're never alone when you have an imagination," the unicorn said with a knowing smile.
Nova awoke with a renewed sense of hope. She bounded down the stairs to find her breakfast waiting and her mother ready to start the day. "I'm going to explore the park today," she announced with determination. Her mother nodded, "That's a wonderful idea. You might even meet some new friends."
Nova stepped onto the playground, her heart beating with excitement. She approached a group of children playing tag, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face. "Hi, can I join you?" she asked shyly. A boy smiled and nodded, "Sure, the more, the merrier!" As she joined in the game, Nova realized that her wish had already begun to come true.
