Zaid, a kind and curious Muslim boy, steps gently along the cobbled road, his backpack bouncing and his small cap neatly in place. As he passes under a shady tree, something catches his eye—a small brown wallet lying near the pavement. He stops, bending down to pick it up, his face showing a mix of surprise and concern.
Ali, Zaid’s friend, grins mischievously and leans closer.
"Keep it, Zaid! Nobody saw you. Maybe there’s money inside!"
Zaid looks confused, biting his lip. He remembers his mother’s gentle voice from last night.
"But Allah sees everything, even when no one else does," he says softly, eyes thoughtful.
Zaid enters the mosque, feeling peaceful and determined. He approaches the imam, who sits reading near the entrance, his face kind and wise.
"Assalamu Alaikum, Imam Sahib, I found this wallet on the road. Can you help me find who it belongs to?"
The imam smiles warmly, nodding at Zaid’s honesty.
Old Man, his hands trembling, sees the wallet in Zaid’s hand. Relief washes over his face.
"Oh, my wallet! I was so worried I’d lost it forever,"
Zaid steps forward, offering the wallet with a shy smile.
"Here you go, Uncle. I wanted to make sure it found its owner,"
Old Man places a kind hand on Zaid’s shoulder, his eyes shining with gratitude.
"May Allah bless you for your honesty, dear child,"
The imam makes dua for Zaid, and Ali watches with newfound respect. The scene glows with warmth as Zaid’s heart feels light, knowing he chose the right path.
