Mia adjusted her backpack, her eyes wide with excitement as she joined her friends in the bustling crowd. "I can't wait to see the lions!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with anticipation. Her friends, Ethan and Lily, nodded eagerly, their faces alight with the thrill of the upcoming adventure.
"Did you know that giraffes have the same number of neck bones as humans?" Ethan shared, his eyes glinting with curiosity. Lily, sitting next to him, leaned closer, intrigued. "Really? That's amazing!" she replied, her gaze drifting to the passing scenery.
The children poured out of the bus, their excitement palpable. Mia led the way, map in hand, as they made their way past the entrance. "Let's start with the safari trail," she suggested, pointing towards a path lined with vibrant flowers and towering palm trees.
Ethan laughed as a curious monkey mimicked his waving gesture. "Look, it wants to be friends!" he chuckled, glancing at Lily, who was capturing the moment with her camera. "This will make a great memory," she smiled, snapping another photo.
Mia handed out sandwiches, her eyes twinkling with joy. "This is the best breakfast ever!" she declared, taking a bite. The others nodded in agreement, savoring the delicious food and the serene atmosphere.
Lily gasped in awe, reaching out cautiously. "Hello, beautiful!" she whispered, her heart fluttering with amazement. The parrot tilted its head, seemingly acknowledging her greeting with a soft squawk.
Mia turned to her friends, a content smile playing on her lips. "We have to do this again sometime," she said, her voice filled with warmth. Ethan and Lily nodded in agreement, already looking forward to their next adventure.
