Snow White, with a haughty air, surveyed the scene from her window. Her eyes narrowed in disdain at the sight of a cheerful Prince Felix riding through the forest, his laughter echoing in the crisp air.
"What brings the esteemed Prince Felix to my humble abode?" Snow White called out, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"I've come to see if the rumors are true, that you live with seven remarkable cats," he replied, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Whiskers, the leader, with his sleek black fur, approached Prince Felix and inspected him with a knowing gaze.
Paws, the ginger tabby, purred loudly, while Mittens, the calico, batted playfully at the prince's cloak.
"I hear you're quite the scholar, Prince. Surely, you can't be smarter than my cats," she taunted.
"Well, they do seem to have me outnumbered," Felix retorted, chuckling as Shadow, a gray feline, deftly swiped a piece of bread from his plate.
"Perhaps another visit is in order, Snow White. I have a feeling your cats may yet teach me a thing or two," he said, mounting his horse with ease.
"Don't count on it, Prince," Snow White replied, though a smile played at her lips.
Fluffy, the smallest of the cats, leapt onto Snow White's shoulder, nuzzling her cheek.
"Oh, what a clever prince he thinks he is," she mused aloud, her voice carrying a hint of admiration masked by arrogance.
"Perhaps next time, we shall see who truly is the smartest," Whiskers meowed softly, eliciting a chorus of agreement from his companions.
