Lynn Loud Jr grunted as she lifted her dumbbell, focused and determined. Suddenly, a loud crack resonated through the room as the dumbbell snapped in two, clattering to the floor. She blinked in surprise, momentarily stunned by the unexpected interruption of her morning routine.
Lincoln Loud strolled past Lynn's open door, his head buried in a comic book. Without hesitation, Lynn seized the opportunity. She sprang forward, hoisting him effortlessly over her shoulder and into her room.
"Hey, what gives?" he yelped, clutching his book tightly.
"You're my new dumbbell!" she declared with a mischievous grin, adjusting her grip on her unsuspecting brother.
Lincoln quickly understood the situation, feeling the strength of Lynn's grip as she lifted him with ease.
"You're stronger than I thought," he remarked, half-impressed, half-amused.
"Yeah, the old dumbbell just couldn't handle me anymore," she replied, her tone both proud and teasing.
Lynn lowered Lincoln to the floor, dusting him off with a laugh.
"Don't worry, I've already ordered a new one. You're just filling in for today," she explained, ruffling his hair.
"Does that mean I get paid?" he asked, eyes gleaming with hope.
Lynn handed Lincoln a few coins, her expression playful yet sincere.
"Thanks, sis!" he exclaimed, already planning which comics to buy with his earnings.
"Just don't get used to it," she teased, watching him dash out with a chuckle.
Lynn often gave Lincoln piggyback rides, much to the amusement of their sisters. Each time, she flexed her muscles, proudly demonstrating her strength.
Lincoln laughed, enjoying the ride and the attention, grateful for the unexpected adventure that had brought them closer.
