Alex groggily pulled himself out of bed, rubbing sleep from his eyes. Across the room, Jamie was already up, humming a tune as she rummaged through the closet. It was a typical morning, or so they thought.
Alex reached for what he thought was his underwear, while Jamie did the same. The two of them, still half-asleep, didn't notice the mix-up until it was too late. "Why does this feel... odd?" Alex muttered, glancing down in confusion.
"Alex, I think we're stuck," Jamie laughed, trying to move. They both looked down to see they had somehow managed to squeeze into the same pair of underwear. It was a ridiculous sight, and Jamie couldn't help but burst into laughter.
The two of them tried to wiggle free, but the fabric held tight. "How did we even manage this?" Alex chuckled, trying to maintain balance as Jamie leaned over to grab a pair of scissors.
Jamie paused, scissors in hand, "You know, this is probably the most time we've spent this close together," she grinned. "I guess every cloud has a silver lining," Alex replied, smiling back.
Finally free, they collapsed on the couch, breathless from laughter. "Next time, let's just double-check our clothes," Jamie suggested. "Or maybe invest in different colors," Alex added, both of them still chuckling at the absurdity of their morning.
