Every morning, the small village awoke to the familiar sound of Coki, the clever rooster. His crow was the signal for the villagers to start their day. Coki was a rooster like no other, known for his intelligence and a mischievous glint in his eye.
This particular morning, however, Coki decided to break from his usual routine. Instead of his usual crow, he hopped up on the fence and let out a loud "Miaow! Miaow!" The sound echoed through the village, causing confusion and curiosity among the villagers.
The villagers, startled by the unusual sound, emerged from their homes, looking around in confusion. Pak Lurah, the village head with a kind heart and a stern demeanor, stepped forward. "What on earth is happening? Is there a flying cat?"
Coki flapped his wings and chuckled. "I just wanted to make sure you're all truly awake, and not just responding to my crow out of habit," he explained, a playful tone in his voice.
Pak Lurah shook his head, a smile breaking through his stern expression. "Well, you've certainly succeeded, Coki. You've given us all a good laugh," he admitted, and the villagers joined in the laughter, their morning brightened by the unexpected humor.
From that day forward, Coki's antics became a beloved tradition. Each morning, the villagers would gather, eagerly anticipating what new sound Coki would mimic. It became a time for bonding and laughter, bringing the community closer together, all thanks to one clever rooster.
