Tom and Jerry stood near the entrance, wearing identical blue vests with "Costco" emblazoned on the back.
"I can't believe we're doing this again," Tom sighed, glancing at the endless flow of customers.
"It's the weekend rush. What did you expect?" Jerry replied, trying to muster enthusiasm.
Tom pushed through the crowd, trying to manage the growing tension.
"Please, one at a time! There are enough for everyone," he called out, hoping to ease the situation.
Jerry was busy scanning barcodes, moving quickly to keep up with the demand.
"This is madness. I thought Black Friday was bad," Jerry muttered under his breath.
Tom and Jerry regrouped near the registers, exhausted but relieved as the crowd began to thin out.
"We survived another wave," Tom said, wiping his brow.
"Just another day at Costco," Jerry grinned, reaching for a bottle of water.
Tom leaned against a cart, gazing at the sky.
"It's crazy, but I kind of love it," he admitted.
"Me too," Jerry agreed, joining him.
"Here's to another day, another adventure," Tom raised his water bottle in a toast.
Tom and Jerry walked towards the exit, their footsteps echoing in the vast space.
"See you tomorrow, partner," Jerry said, waving as they parted ways.
"Same time, same place," Tom replied, smiling as he disappeared into the night.
