Dragón peered out from his lair, his scales shimmering in the sunlight. He was a magnificent creature, with emerald eyes and wings that stretched wide like sails. However, his majestic appearance belied an unusual predicament.
"Treasure, why must you torment me so?" he lamented, staring at the scattered golden coins and jewels that lay untouched on the cave floor. Each time he approached, his snout would twitch, and a sneeze would erupt, sending glittering dust into the air.
Determined to solve his treasure allergy, Dragón paced back and forth, his claws clicking against the stone. He needed to find a way to amass wealth without succumbing to his unfortunate condition. Inspiration struck as he watched a squirrel scamper past, its cheeks filled with acorns.
"Of course! If I cannot touch the treasure, then perhaps others can," he mused, a mischievous glint in his eye.
Dragón descended into the heart of the city, his presence causing a stir among the townsfolk. Despite their initial apprehension, they soon gathered around, intrigued by the dragon's unusual request.
"Good people of Valle Brillante," he announced, his voice booming yet friendly, "I am in need of your assistance. Help me gather my treasure, and I shall reward you handsomely."
Dragón approached the squirrel brigade, offering them a deal. In exchange for their help in organizing his treasure, he promised to share some of his wealth in the form of delicious nuts and berries.
"We accept!" chirped the leader squirrel, twitching his nose in excitement. And so, the squirrels set to work, scampering back and forth between the dragon's lair and the forest.
As the days passed, Dragón watched in awe as his fortune grew in an organized, sneeze-free manner. Not only did he manage to hoard his wealth, but he also found joy in his newfound friendship with the industrious squirrels.
"Who knew such a peculiar alliance could bring so much happiness?" he mused, his worries forgotten.
Dragón settled into his cozy nook, contentment washing over him. His allergy was no longer a burden, and his wealth was safe and secure. Most importantly, he had discovered the true treasure in the companionship and laughter shared with his small, furry friends.
"Sometimes, the greatest wealth comes not from gold, but from the bonds we forge," he reflected, drifting into a peaceful slumber.
