Jake and Max, two adventurous teenage boys, glanced at each other with a grin as they approached the bustling house. "This is going to be epic," said Jake.
Max watched in awe as the competitors skillfully maneuvered their oars. "I didn't know this was part of the party," he exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.
Jake nudged Max with a mischievous smile. "Let's mix it up a bit," he suggested, reaching for an energy drink to blend with their alcohol.
Max took a swig from his cup, feeling the rush of energy. "This is wild!" he shouted over the music, but a slight unease began to creep in.
Jake stumbled, clutching his head. "I don't feel so good," he muttered, as Max swayed beside him, looking equally pale.
Paramedics rush in, assessing the situation. "They're going to be okay," someone reassures the worried crowd as Jake and Max are carefully lifted onto stretchers.
Jake glanced at Max with a sheepish grin. "Remind me to stick to soda next time," he joked, earning a chuckle from Max.
