Ethan adjusted his cap nervously as he and Liam approached the house party. "This is going to be epic," Liam said, trying to mask his anxiety with bravado.
Ethan nudged Liam, pointing to the crowd gathered around the pool. "Look at that," he marveled. "We should totally try that," Liam suggested, eyes gleaming with excitement.
Ethan grabbed an energy drink, pouring it into his cup. "Let's take this up a notch," Liam grinned, adding vodka to the mix. "This is going to be wild!" Ethan laughed, clinking his cup against Liam's.
As they downed their mixed drinks, the initial rush of energy was exhilarating. "I feel amazing!" Liam shouted, ready to dive in. But soon, their excitement was replaced by a dizzying nausea.
Ethan clutched his stomach, groaning. "I don't feel so good," Liam mumbled weakly. Someone in the crowd called for an ambulance, the flashing lights reflecting off the worried faces surrounding them.
Ethan and Liam are carefully loaded onto stretchers. "We're going to be okay, right?" Ethan asked weakly, his vision blurring. "Yeah, we will be," Liam reassured, squeezing his friend's hand as they were whisked away, leaving the party behind.
