Dr. Stephen Strange sat at the head of the table, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he surveyed the feast before him. The aroma of the baked beans was particularly enticing, and he couldn't resist serving himself a generous portion.
Wong leaned in, his voice low and conspiratorial. "You know, Strange, those beans have a reputation," he warned with a grin.
"Reputation or not, they're delicious," replied Dr. Stephen Strange, already reaching for a second helping.
Dr. Stephen Strange shifted uncomfortably, a sheepish look crossing his face. Without warning, a rather loud and unexpected noise echoed through the hall, causing him to burst into laughter. "Well, I suppose Wong was right," he admitted, trying to maintain his composure.
Wong chuckled as he gathered the dishes. "You should have known better than to challenge the beans," he teased.
"Next time, I'll stick to something less... explosive," Dr. Stephen Strange promised with a grin.
He shook his head with a smile, contemplating the humility that comes with being human, even for a sorcerer. "Even the mightiest of us have our moments," he thought, turning back to his studies with renewed focus.
Dr. Stephen Strange stood on the balcony, gazing out over the serene landscape. "Lesson learned," he murmured to himself, feeling a sense of peace as he breathed in the night air.
