Isabella entered the café, her eyes drawn to the menu board glowing with unusual names. The barista, a young person with a knowing smile, greeted her with a nod. "I'd like to try the Wishing Pearl Bubble Tea," she said, her voice tinged with excitement.
Isabella took a seat, admiring the whimsical decor as the barista prepared her drink. The beverage arrived, swirling with iridescent hues. "Make a wish while you drink, and it might just come true," the barista advised with a wink. With a playful grin, Isabella closed her eyes and wished for beauty that couldn't be ignored.
As Isabella sipped the magical tea, a tingling sensation spread through her body. Suddenly, her stomach began to expand, rounding out like a balloon. "What is happening to me?!" she gasped, clutching at her swelling belly as her dress stretched tighter.
Spotting Sophie, her friend with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, Isabella hurried over, her massive stomach wobbling. "Sophie! Help me! I wished for beauty, and now I’m… THIS!" she exclaimed. "Well, you did say you wanted everyone to notice you," Sophie replied with a laugh.
Isabella looked at the barista with desperation. "Please, I can't take any more!" she pleaded. The barista handed her the vial. "Here! Drink this—it’s the antidote!" Isabella drank it eagerly, feeling her belly deflate slowly, creaks and groans marking her return to normalcy.
Isabella sighed with relief, her ordeal over. "I guess I need to be more careful with my wishes," she said, a newfound understanding in her voice. Sophie nodded, "True beauty comes from within, you know." The two friends continued their journey, Isabella now appreciating the beauty of the world around her and the importance of words.
