Maya navigated through the crowd, her eyes scanning the colorful booths and costumed fans. Her daughter, Lily, tugged at her sleeve, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Mom, look! They have a potion-making booth!" she exclaimed.
Maya chuckled, feeling a mix of amusement and exhaustion. "Alright, let's see what all the fuss is about," she replied, allowing Lily to lead her to the booth.
As Maya approached the booth, the vendor handed her a small vial filled with a shimmering green liquid. The Wizard, with his long, flowing robes and an air of mischief, grinned broadly. "Try this elixir, and you might discover hidden powers," he teased.
Maya, eager to impress Lily, hesitated for a moment before downing the potion. Almost instantly, a warm sensation spread through her body, and her skin tingled with an unfamiliar energy.
Suddenly, Maya felt a surge of power, her arms and legs expanding, her skin turning a bright shade of green. The bustling crowd gasped and parted as they witnessed her transformation. Lily stared wide-eyed, a mix of awe and concern on her face.
"Mom… you're… a She-Hulk!" Lily whispered, barely able to contain her disbelief.
Maya looked down at her newly transformed self, her clothes stretched to their limits. "Well, this is unexpected," she muttered, trying to suppress a nervous laugh.
Returning home was an adventure in itself. Maya navigated her new strength, accidentally slamming doors and leaving dents in the furniture. Neighbors peeked through their curtains, curious and slightly alarmed by the commotion.
"Guess I'll need to be more careful," Maya mused, attempting to adjust to this unexpected change. She glanced at Lily, who was thoroughly entertained by her mother's predicament.
Despite the day's chaos, Maya managed to prepare dinner, her movements more controlled as she adjusted to her new abilities. Lily giggled as her mom effortlessly lifted a heavy pot with one hand.
"You're the coolest mom ever," Lily declared, her admiration evident.
Maya smiled, feeling a sense of pride and acceptance. "Maybe this isn't so bad after all," she reflected, embracing her unique transformation.
