Katherine strolled down the street, her Harley Quinn cosplay attracting amused glances and smiles. Her bright pigtails bobbed with each step, and her infectious laughter mingled with the city’s cacophony. She was in her element, soaking in the vibrant chaos around her.
"This city never sleeps, does it?" she mused to herself as she turned a corner, stopping abruptly at the sight of something unusual. There, nestled between two bustling stalls, lay a curious, old lamp covered in intricate engravings.
Katherine picked up the lamp, its surface cool and smooth against her palm. As she absentmindedly rubbed it, a swirl of violet smoke erupted, forming into a figure—a young girl with a serene face, visibly pregnant.
The Genie, her eyes twinkling with mischief, spoke gently, "Greetings, dear mortal. You have one wish, and one wish alone. Choose wisely."
Katherine, taken aback but excited, blurted out, "I wish for a lot of money!"
A strange sensation spread across Katherine’s abdomen, and she watched in astonishment as her belly began to swell. It expanded, round and full, as if filled with invisible wealth.
"What’s happening?!" she exclaimed, her hands on her burgeoning belly. The genie chuckled softly before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Katherine, now resembling a heavily pregnant woman, waddled awkwardly through the streets, her vibrant outfit stretched comically over her distended belly. She made her way to a familiar ally: Wonder Woman.
"Help! I wished for money, and now I’m about to burst!" she cried, gesturing to her swollen midriff. Wonder Woman, caught between concern and amusement, shook her head.
"Oh, Katherine, what have you gotten yourself into?" she replied, trying to suppress a grin.
Katherine had an idea. "Why don’t you wish for more money too? Maybe it’ll balance things out!" she proposed.
Wonder Woman, intrigued, agreed and soon found herself in the same predicament. Her own belly began to grow until she, too, appeared ready to pop with untold wealth.
"I should have known this would happen," she laughed, poking at her rounded abdomen.
Together, Katherine and Wonder Woman embarked on a whimsical adventure to find a solution to their peculiar problem. Their laughter echoed through the night, mingling with the patter of rain, as they waddled through the alleys in search of the elusive genie.
"Well, at least we're rich in more ways than one!" Katherine quipped, her spirits undampened.
"Indeed," Wonder Woman replied with a chuckle, "but maybe next time, we'll wish for something a bit more practical."
