AnnaCupcakeStar held tightly to her pink backpack, her eyes darting nervously around the unfamiliar room. Next to her, Cat sat perched on her lap, tail curled elegantly, eyes wide and curious. Lily flipped through a picture book, her feet swinging above the ground as she tried to distract Anna from her worries.
"Don't worry, Anna," Lily whispered, glancing up from her book. Cat purred softly, nuzzling against Anna's arm as if to offer comfort. The receptionist smiled kindly at them, signaling it would soon be their turn.
When their names were called, AnnaCupcakeStar stood up bravely, holding Cat close. Inside the room, she hesitated for a moment, eyes fixing on the mural of a dancing fox. Cat hopped onto a nearby chair, stretching lazily as Lily gave Anna an encouraging smile.
"Hello, Anna! Who's this wonderful cat?" the doctor asked, kneeling to Cat's level. AnnaCupcakeStar managed a shy grin, her nerves melting away as the doctor listened to her with kindness. Lily watched closely, squeezing Anna's hand for support.

"It just tickles a little, see?" the doctor reassured, placing the cold stethoscope on her chest. "You're so brave, Anna," Lily added, her eyes shining with pride. Cat pawed at the air, earning a gentle scratch behind the ears from the doctor.
"Thank you, Doctor! I feel much better now," AnnaCupcakeStar beamed, waving goodbye. Cat strutted proudly beside her, tail high, and Lily skipped ahead, her laughter echoing down the hallway. The doctor waved them off, happy to see her patients smiling as they returned to the bright day outside.
