Deku, a green-haired boy with a shy demeanor, shuffled along the crowded hallway. His breath came in shallow gasps as he fumbled through his bag, searching desperately for his inhaler. The clamor around him seemed to amplify his anxiety, and his vision began to blur.
Bakugo, a brash and confident student, glanced over at the struggling Deku. "Hey, look at him. Is that... an inhaler?" he exclaimed, surprise evident in his voice. His friends turned to look, curiosity piqued. "I had no idea he had asthma," one of them replied, shaking their head.
Bakugo approached Deku, intent on making a sarcastic remark. However, as he drew closer, he noticed Deku swaying slightly before collapsing to the floor. The inhaler slipped from his grasp, clattering noisily as it hit the ground. "Deku!" he shouted, genuine concern cutting through his usual bravado.
Bakugo knelt beside Deku, panic setting in. "Somebody get a teacher!" he barked, his earlier intentions forgotten. A nearby student dashed off, while others looked on, fear etched into their faces.
The teacher, a calm and composed figure, quickly assessed the situation. "Everyone, give him some space," they instructed while gently lifting Deku's head and helping him use the inhaler. Slowly, Deku's breathing steadied, and color returned to his cheeks.
Bakugo watched as Deku sat up, a little dazed but recovering. "You're okay, right?" he asked, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. Deku nodded, a small grateful smile on his face. "Thanks, Bakugo," he replied softly, surprising them both with the sincerity in his voice.
