Isaiy sat at a corner table, her curly hair tied back in a messy bun. Park Se Yeon walked in with his basketball team, his presence commanding attention as he swaggered across the room. Their eyes met, and an unspoken tension crackled in the air. "Here comes trouble," Isaiy muttered under her breath.
Isaiy was busy behind the counter when Park Se Yeon sauntered in, his usual smirk plastered on his face. "A latte, please. And make it quick," he said, leaning casually against the counter. "Maybe you should try being polite," she retorted, her voice laced with irritation. His laughter echoed, a sound that grated on her nerves. The tension boiled over when he made a snide comment about her weight, and she snapped back, their voices rising until the manager intervened, leading to Isaiy's dismissal.
Park Se Yeon found himself facing Isaiy once more, this time in the courtyard. "You just can't stay out of my business, can you?" she shouted, her frustration palpable. "It's not my fault you can't handle a little fun," he shot back, arms crossed defiantly. Their argument escalated, drawing the attention of nearby students, some of whom watched with keen interest while others whispered amongst themselves.
Park Se Yeon sat alone on a bench, head in his hands, the weight of his team's loss and his girlfriend's betrayal pressing down on him. Isaiy walked in, her initial intent to gloat forgotten as she saw the tears in his eyes. "Se Yeon?" she said softly, her voice devoid of its usual edge. He looked up, surprised by the compassion in her gaze. "You okay?" she asked, sitting beside him, offering silent support.
Isaiy and Park Se Yeon walked side by side, their previous animosity tempered by the shared understanding of vulnerability. "I didn't expect you to be there for me," he admitted, his tone sincere. "Sometimes, we all need a friend," she replied, a small smile tugging at her lips. The tension between them had eased, replaced by the first fragile threads of friendship. As they walked, the world around them seemed a little brighter, the future a little less daunting.
