Mitja stood at the corner of a busy street, his eyes scanning the crowd for familiar faces. He had called for this meeting, hoping to resolve the tensions that had been simmering for weeks. "I hope they all show up," he muttered under his breath, feeling a mix of apprehension and determination.
Aino arrived first, her usual calm demeanor slightly shaken. She took a seat by the window, drumming her fingers on the table. Julia entered next, her expression unreadable as she joined Aino. Ari, always punctual, followed closely behind, offering a nod of greeting. "Is everyone else coming?"
Tommi sauntered in, his usual playful attitude replaced with seriousness. He took a seat, glancing around at his friends. Nina was the last to arrive, her face a mask of determination. "We need to talk about what happened," he said, breaking the silence.
Mitja took a deep breath and began to speak, his voice steady. "We can't keep pretending everything is fine. We need to address the issues between us," he said, looking each of them in the eye. Julia shifted in her seat, her expression softening as she listened.
Aino spoke up, her voice calm yet firm. "I think we all have things to apologize for," she admitted. Ari nodded in agreement, his expression thoughtful. They each took turns sharing their thoughts and feelings, the group slowly finding common ground.
Nina smiled, feeling a weight lift from her shoulders. "I'm glad we did this," she said, glancing at her friends. They all walked away from the café together, a newfound sense of camaraderie binding them. Despite the challenges, they knew they could face anything as long as they were together.
