Imane leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with excitement, as she sketched on a notepad. Sara, clipboard in hand, was busy jotting down notes, her brow furrowed in concentration. Aya stood beside them, hands animated as she spoke, while Leila sat between them, her calm demeanor a stabilizing force. Mohamed crossed his arms, a skeptical look on his face.
"Okay, everyone! I have the best idea. This year, we should have a giant, colorful arch at the entrance to the event!"
"Sure, that sounds great. But we need to make sure it fits with the overall aesthetic," Sara replied, jotting more notes.
"Wait, wait, I don’t think we need a giant arch. It’s just going to take up too much space and cost too much," Mohamed interjected, his voice firm.
Leila raised her hands, attempting to calm the group. Imane chimed in with a proposal to make the arch modular and interactive, bringing a new twist to the discussion.
"How about this? We can have an arch, but it could have smaller, modular pieces that can be arranged however we like. And we can make it interactive!"
"Oh, I love that idea, Imane!" Aya exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious.
However, Sara looked worried as she glanced at her notes.
"Wait, hold on. We need to plan the budget. We can’t just keep adding ideas," she cautioned, her voice tense.
"Yeah, exactly. Why can’t we just keep things simple?" Mohamed echoed, his frustration evident.
Leila took a deep breath, her voice steady as she addressed the team.
"Everyone, we need to calm down and figure this out. We’re going in circles. Let’s just go over what we want to achieve with the entrance. What’s the most important thing?"
The room fell silent, each member considering her words. Slowly, their expressions softened as they began to listen to one another.
Leila suggested a middle ground—a modest arch with creative touches like colorful drapes and lights, yet keeping it simple and within budget.
"What if we have a modest arch, something that isn’t too big or too flashy, but with creative touches?"
"Okay, I like that," Imane agreed thoughtfully.
"Yes! I love that! Simple, but with a fun twist," Aya chimed in, her smile wide.
"Alright, that sounds doable. We can keep it within budget and still make it unique," Sara nodded, relief in her voice.
"Fine. As long as we don’t go overboard," Mohamed conceded, a hint of a smile on his face.
Aya beamed as she watched people flock to the nearby photo booth, laughter filling the air. Sara stood beside her, a satisfied smile on her face. Imane grinned at the interactive elements they had included, while Mohamed chuckled, admitting it had all worked out well.
"We did it. The entrance looks amazing,"
"And it’s exactly what we needed—simple but elegant," Sara added.
"I love how interactive it turned out," Imane said proudly.
"I guess it wasn’t too bad after all," Mohamed admitted.
"And we did it together. All it took was listening to each other," Leila concluded, her heart full as they watched the event unfold successfully.
