Jake sat shirtless on the couch, enjoying a rare moment of peace. The evening air was calm, but tension lurked beneath the surface. A voice from the kitchen broke the tranquility. "Jake, can you help with the dishes?" Jake sighed, rising to his feet. As he moved, his toe collided sharply with the table leg, sending a jolt of pain through his body. "Oh, that stupid table," he muttered, trying to suppress the surge of anger. "This puny table..." His blue eyes flickered with a hint of green, a reminder of the Hulk within him.

Jake clenched his fists, feeling the familiar pull of transformation. But before the Hulk could emerge, Emily appeared in the doorway, her presence soothing the storm within him. "Trying to manage on your own isn’t working, is it? Maybe you should embrace the Hulk," she suggested, her tone light yet serious. "Em, you know what would happen," Jake replied, his voice steady but strained. "I’d lose myself completely."

Jake examined his visage in the mirror, his eyes searching for answers in the green tint that threatened to take over. "What do you want, Hulk?" he asked quietly. "To take over?" The Hulk's voice echoed back, "Hulk will take over when ready. Em is our girlfriend, and Hulk is strongest for her." Jake managed a smile, acknowledging their shared affection for Emily despite their internal conflict.

The Hulk's voice was insistent now, "Let me in, Jake. Time to have fun." Jake hesitated, then nodded slowly. His eyes glowed a brilliant green as he surrendered control. Muscles surged, skin turned emerald, and the Hulk emerged, powerful and unstoppable.

"Oh, it’s you," she said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "I hope Jake didn’t resist too much." The Hulk grinned, "Hulk is in control now. Time for fun and change."

Stretching, Jake marveled at his newfound strength. "I feel amazing. What did I miss?" he asked Emily. She recounted the Hulk’s adventures over the past year, her stories filled with laughter and fond memories. Jake flexed his muscles, admiring the transformation. "Do you think I could let him take over again, just for fun?" "Only if it’s what you want," Emily replied, smiling. "Alright, Hulk, let’s do it," Jake decided, ready to embrace his other side once more.
