Gretel sat on the floor, wrapping the last of her belongings in newspaper. Her heart ached at the thought of leaving Hansel, her loyal Pekingese, behind. The little dog lay beside her, his head resting on her knee, eyes filled with an understanding far beyond his years. "I promise, I'll bring you to me as soon as I can," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

After gettig there it was confirmed Hansel will be able to fly, but the problem was he was 9 hours away in car and no one could take him. After looking and begging a driver was found he will take hanse by car and drop him at the international airport. 9 long hours seemed like an eternity, hanse didn't leave his bag the whole trip he was so straced to the bag as if he knew that was his way to his human mom, Gretel.
The driver, a kind-hearted friend of Gretel, glanced at Hansel in the rearview mirror. "Don’t worry, little guy, we’ll get you there," he reassured, his voice a calm anchor in the sea of uncertainty. She knelt, arms wide open, as Hansel bounded towards her, his tail wagging furiously.
