Jenny and Jillian step out of the taxi, their eyes wide with a mix of excitement and apprehension. The towering facade of the school looms before them, promising adventure and challenges.
"This is it, Jenny. Our new home,"
Jenny and Jillian find seats near the back, observing their peers with curiosity. A stern-looking teacher approaches the podium.
"Welcome to your new beginning," he announces, his voice echoing through the hall. "As tradition dictates, we ask all new arrivals to shave their heads to prevent lice outbreaks."
Jenny picks up a brochure that explains the school rules, trying to absorb the unexpected information. Jillian looks at her sister, contemplating the significance of the request.
"Are we really going to do this?" "I guess it's part of the experience," she replies, half laughing.
Jillian watches nervously as Jenny takes a seat, the barber offering reassuring words. "It’s just hair, right?" she whispers as the first strands tumble down.
The barber smiles, "You'll feel lighter and ready for the new journey."
Jenny touches her scalp, surprised by the sensation. "We look different, but I think we’re ready for this," Jillian smiles, her eyes reflecting determination.
"Here's to new beginnings," "And to being lice-free," they laugh together.
Jenny and Jillian exchange stories and laughter, their voices mingling with the crowd. The smell of fresh pastries and brewed coffee fills the air, marking the start of a promising day.
"I think we’re going to like it here," "Definitely," her sister agrees as they find a table amidst their new friends.
