Arash sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the fading light outside the window. His thoughts were tangled in a web of questions and doubts. "What is my situation?" he murmured to himself, feeling the weight of his unfulfilled aspirations pressing down on him.
Fatemeh and Zara burst through the door, their faces flushed from the climb. "Baba, there are too many stairs!" Fatemeh exclaimed, her straight hair bouncing as she dropped her school bag on the floor.
"We don't want to live here anymore," Zara added, her curly locks framing her earnest expression.
"I wish I could give them more," he whispered, his heart aching with the knowledge of his limitations. His mind drifted back to his dreams of becoming a leading engineer, dreams that seemed so distant now.
"Every day is a sacrifice," he thought, the words heavy with truth. He recalled the sacrifices he had made, the paths not taken, all for the happiness and security of his daughters.
Arash felt a sense of resolve wash over him. "I may not have everything I dreamed of," he thought, a gentle smile forming on his lips, "but I have them, and that is enough."
Arash joined them, a newfound hope in his heart. "Let's make today a good day," he said, his voice filled with a quiet determination.
