Ava, always quick to tie her shoes, grins at her twin sister across the room.
Zoe, searching for her favorite blue sweater, tosses a pillow playfully.
"Race you to the kitchen! First one down gets the biggest pancake!"
"You're on! But this time, I'm going to win!"
Zoe glances at her sister, hesitating before speaking.
"Why does it feel like we're drifting apart lately, Ava? Everything is changing so fast."
"I don't know... I guess we like different things now. It doesn't mean I don't care."
Ava wipes away a tear, feeling jealous and left behind.
Zoe notices but hesitates, unsure how to reach out.
"I wish I was as good at something as you are at art,"
"Ava, you're amazing at what you love. Just because we're twins doesn't mean we have to be the same."
Ava leans forward, her eyes bright with understanding.
"I realized I was trying too hard to match you instead of being myself. Maybe our differences make us stronger."
"I'm glad we're not exactly the same. I love hearing about your soccer games, even when I don't play."
Zoe calls out to her sister, holding up her drawing.
"Look, I drew you scoring a goal! You're a superstar in my sketchbook, Ava."
"I'll hang it in my room! Next time, you should draw yourself too—we're both worth celebrating."
Ava smiles, bumping shoulders with Zoe.
"Whatever happens, I wouldn't trade being your twin for anything. I think we're perfect just the way we are—different, but together."
"Me too, Ava. Let's promise to keep cheering each other on, no matter what."
