Taraji enters the room with a bright smile, her braids swinging as she waves at her classmates. She pauses by the window, watching the playground fill with laughter and friendly chatter. The teacher, Mrs. Lee, writes “Kindness Day” on the board in bold, colorful letters.
Taraji holds a shiny harmonica in her hands, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I love making music because it helps me share my feelings and brings people together," she says, passing the harmonica around for others to try. Her friend Manuel shows his origami crane, and Mei shares her storybook filled with magical creatures.
Taraji notices a new student, Samira, sitting alone with her hands folded in her lap. "Hey, would you like to join us? We’re sharing things we love to do," she offers, her voice gentle and encouraging.
"These are your designs? They’re amazing!" Taraji exclaims, passing the notebook around. Samira’s smile grows as her classmates offer kind words and ask how she creates such colorful art. The room feels warmer, filled with laughter and new connections.
Taraji paints music notes, Manuel folds paper birds, Mei draws dragons, and Samira sketches patterns along the borders. "When we all share what we love, we make something beautiful—together," Taraji says, her words echoed by nods and smiles.
The students gather beneath their masterpiece, each one feeling seen and valued. "Everyone is somebody with amazing abilities. When we are kind and include each other, we all shine brighter," Taraji declares, her voice ringing with joy. The class bursts into applause, their hearts full of pride and friendship.
