Lane addressed the board with a charismatic smile, his eyes gleaming with enthusiasm. "If I was a teacher," he began, "I would teach the world to sing and dance, to find the beauty within themselves."
"Our curriculum would be a tapestry woven with maths and science, but also with the arts," Lane continued. "Imagine physics taught like popping peas or chemistry explored through the dance of the birds and bees."
"Geography wouldn't just be maps and atlases," he said, "but journeys through the universe, visiting stars and planets. Biology would be an intimate study, exploring life closely and personally."
"In art and crafts," Lane explained, "creativity would know no bounds. Students could draw mommy with no nose, and design and technology would challenge them to create things never seen before."
"School hours could be shorter," he mused, "as learning efficiency improves. I'd teach after-school classes with fewer rules, and meals would be a communal, nourishing experience."
"And as our students rest their heads on their desks," Lane concluded, "they'd drift into dreams enriched by their day's learning. My aim is for every child to leave with an A+ star, their spirits lifted, and their minds expanded."
