Buzzly, the friendliest bee in the meadow, zoomed in circles above the hive, eager to share a special lesson with her friends. She gathered a group of young bees, their tiny wings fluttering with excitement, and landed on a soft daisy. "Today, we’re going to learn the Bee-attitudes from Matthew 5:3-12! These are the special ways bees can be happy and kind, just like the best bees in the meadow," she announced.
Buzzly flew to Timid Tim and smiled warmly. "Blessed are the bees who don’t show off, for the whole meadow is their home," she explained. Timid Tim looked down shyly, but his friends buzzed around him, cheering him on. "I guess being humble means sharing and helping, not bragging about how much nectar I find," he said, feeling a little braver.
Buzzly zipped between them, raising her little legs. "Blessed are the bees who are gentle and kind, for they will always have friends," she said. Sunny looked at Stingy Stan, then broke into a smile. "Let’s share the flower, Stan. There’s enough nectar for both of us," she offered, and Stingy Stan nodded happily.
Buzzly buzzed over, her wings shining in the sunlight. "Blessed are the bees who help others, for they will be helped too," she encouraged. One by one, the bees joined in, gently cleaning Muddy Maddy’s wings with soft petals and laughter. "Thank you! I feel so much better," she beamed.
Buzzly bravely flew between the groups, her voice calm and clear. "Blessed are the bees who make peace, for they will be called the happy helpers of the meadow," she said. The bees on both sides paused, looked at each other, and slowly began to laugh at how silly they looked fighting. Soon, everyone was buzzing together in harmony.
Buzzly led the bees in a joyful dance above the flowers. "When bees follow the Bee-attitudes, everyone is happy and the meadow is the best place to be," she cheered. As the stars began to twinkle, the bees promised to remember the Bee-attitudes every day, spreading kindness, peace, and joy wherever they flew.
