"Think of your plate like a balanced team lineup," he said, pointing to a drawing of a football field. "Carbs are your energy builders, proteins are muscle builders, and healthy fats provide endurance. You need them all to play your best!"
"Let's try the wholegrain toast with peanut butter and banana," Sara suggested, spreading the ingredients with precision. Her mom nodded approvingly, "Great choice! It'll give you the energy you need to shine on the pitch," she encouraged.
Coach Jamie gathered the team for a quick debrief, "Remember, recovery is as important as practice. A good meal after the game helps you bounce back quicker," he reminded them.
"I think I'll try the chicken and rice with veggies tomorrow," she mused aloud, jotting down notes. With newfound knowledge and a motivated spirit, Sara felt ready to tackle any challenge that came her way, both on and off the field.
