Voldemort stands atop the dais, his serpent eyes glowing as he raises his wand. George Weasley is dragged before him, blood smudged on his cheek, surrounded by Death Eaters. The Weasley family and the Golden Trio press desperately at the edge, wands raised, horrified.
"Tonight, a new leader is born. George Weasley, the shadow behind the twin. You shall command my army and finish what I began."
"No! I—I’m not like you—"
A wall explodes nearby, sending Fred Weasley flying, limp and unconscious as the room trembles.
Chained, George Weasley resists as Voldemort completes the Death Eater ritual, black magic swirling into his veins. The DA, teachers, and Weasley siblings fight desperately at the entrance but are repelled by a shimmering barrier. "Let the darkness claim him! Let the world witness the rise of Dark Lord George!"
"I’m tired of being second best. If this is my destiny—so be it."
The ritual completes, and George’s eyes blaze with a cold, unnatural power.
After twenty-seven hours, Fred Weasley stirs, eyes blinking open. The Golden Trio crowd around, anxious. "Where’s George? What happened?"
[@ch_4]Harry Potter[/@ch_4_d]"He’s gone, Fred. Voldemort… he’s turned him."[/@ch_4_d]
"No—George, my twin… I have to save him!"
Fred staggers to his feet, determination burning in his gaze.
George Weasley stands armored in black, wand crackling with dark energy. The Weasleys and friends try to reach him, hope and heartbreak in their eyes.
[@ch_5]Bill Weasley[/@ch_5_d]"George, fight it! You're not alone!"[/@ch_5_d]
"I was always alone, Bill. Always overshadowed, always compared. Now, I am more than a twin—I am a legend."
Spells flash, and George duels his family, rage and sorrow entwined.
Fred Weasley steps forward, tears streaking his dirt-stained face. George Weasley raises his wand, voice cold. "Say your final words, Fred."
"You want final words? I’ve loved you since first year, George. I loved you every day, every joke, every moment. I still do. Will you go on a date with me?"
The wand falters; George’s hand shakes. Fred kneels, voice trembling. "Marry me, George. Let me bring you back."
The darkness cracks, and their true love’s kiss breaks the curse.
George Weasley wakes up queasy, clutching his stomach. Fred Weasley fusses over him, concern etched on his face. They apparate to St Mungo’s, nerves frazzled.
[@ch_6]Healer Rowena[/@ch_6_d]"Congratulations! George, you’re pregnant."[/@ch_6_d]
Fred Weasley faints, sprawling dramatically on the tile. George Weasley laughs, brushing hair from his eyes, amused by his husband’s shock.
George Weasley smiles, cheeks flushed. Fred Weasley beams, arms wrapped around his husband. "We’re having twins—two girls."
Everyone erupts in joyful chaos, hugs and tears all around. The twins are named Maria and Lydia, and the family swells with pride.
George Weasley kisses Fred, tears sparkling in his eyes. Fred Weasley squeezes his hand, pride and love radiating between them.
"No darkness can outshine this love, Fred. Not ever."
