Sakura Haruno continued her steady march, her breath visible in the chilly dusk air.
Jason stirred slightly, mumbling, "Sakura, you can let me down now."
"Not a chance," Sakura replied, determination etched on her face.
Ino Yamanaka, Sakura's old rival, steps forward, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Still carrying the dead weight, I see," Ino quipped, tossing her hair back.
"Think you can do better?" Sakura challenged, adjusting Jason on her back.
Ino stepped forward confidently, "Alright, I'll show you how it's done."
Jason groaned, "Why am I involved in this again?"
Sakura grinned, "Because it's fun!"
Ino strides forward, her pace steady and confident, "See, easy!"
Jason chuckled faintly, "Don't drop me, Ino."
Ino lets out a breath, "Almost there..." She stumbles slightly, adjusting her grip.
But just before the gate, her foot catches a root, and Jason slips.
Sakura quickly catches Jason, lifting him with ease, "Looks like I win, Ino."
Ino sighs, conceding defeat with a reluctant smile, "Fine, you're the best at carrying, Sakura."
Together, they walk toward the village, the friendly rivalry settled for now.
