Jason wiped a bead of sweat from his brow and grinned at his opponent. Boruto Uzumaki, the blonde-haired ninja, mirrored his expression, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Thanks for the practice, Boruto, but I need to get going," Jason said, catching his breath. "Got a dinner date with Sarada Uchiha?"
Naruto Uzumaki, Boruto's father, stepped forward, his trademark grin stretching across his face. "You better hurry, Jason, or Sarada might show up with Sasuke," he teased, ruffling Boruto's hair. Jason chuckled nervously, his thoughts momentarily drifting to the formidable Sasuke Uchiha.
Sarada Uchiha stood in the doorway, arms crossed and a determined look in her eyes. Her presence was commanding, her silhouette framed by the setting sun. Without a word, she marched over to Jason and lifted him effortlessly over her shoulder. "I thought I'd find you here. We're going for burgers, now," she declared.
Jason, hanging upside down, laughed as he caught sight of the familiar villagers waving at them. Sarada carried him with ease, her determination unwavering. "You really have a way of making an entrance," he quipped, admiring her strength.
Sarada set Jason down gently at a table by the window, the evening light casting a soft glow over them. As they perused the menu, their conversation flowed easily, punctuated by laughter and the clinking of glasses. "This is much better than training," Jason admitted, his eyes twinkling with happiness.
Sarada and Jason finished their meal, content and full. As they stepped out into the cool night air, Jason felt grateful for the unexpected turn his evening had taken. "Next time, I'm picking you up," Sarada teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement as they strolled back toward the village.
