Chris, a 42-year-old with black hair and a little extra weight, lounges in faded jeans and a snug t-shirt, idly scrolling through his phone. Rain drums gently on the window as Chris's thumb pauses over a new app with a bold icon: "Superhero Transform." Curiosity piqued, Chris taps the icon, feeling a spark of childlike excitement.
Chris scrolls past Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman, eyes wide with nostalgia. The Flash icon catches his attention, and he hesitates as the app offers two choices: Barry Allen or Wally West. "Wally West… that could be fun," Chris muses aloud, pressing the selection with a slight grin.
Chris blinks, startled, as his reflection in the darkened TV screen changes—his face smoothing, body shrinking, and clothes suddenly hanging loose around a younger frame. "No way… I look twenty-one again!" Chris laughs, tugging at his baggy jeans. The app buzzes again, prompting him to choose a body type, and with a tap, he feels his muscles tighten, fat melting away, until he stands with the lithe, powerful build of a runner.
His jeans morph into sleek combat pants; his t-shirt shifts into a bright runner’s vest. Chris stares in awe at his muscular arms, marveling at the energy coursing through him. The next option appears: "Hair." He taps again, and his hair and body hair transform to a vibrant ginger, styled exactly like Wally West’s.
Chris hesitates for just a moment before tapping the button. A surge of energy courses through him as lightning arcs around his body—his clothes fusing into a skintight, scarlet costume with golden accents, a mask forming over his face. "I… I’m the Flash," he whispers, flexing his hands in disbelief.
No longer Chris, he is now Wally West, the Flash, hero of Central City. With newfound speed, he dashes into the night, ready to save lives and embrace his destiny. "This feels incredible… What adventure awaits me next?" he wonders, a confident grin beneath his mask.
