Dora and Boots were walking along the snowy path when they suddenly heard splashing, squawking, and panicked yelling near the beach. In front of them, Santa Jaws raced through the snow with wide eyes, his Santa hat tilted sideways as a crowd of penguins chased him in a wobbly, determined pack. "Boots, look! The penguins are chasing Santa Jaws, and he looks really scared, so we have to be careful and figure out what is happening!"
Boots jumped and clutched Dora's arm as the penguins came closer, their feet pattering quickly over the icy ground. Their beaks snapped, their flippers flailed, and the whole snowy beach felt suddenly wild and dangerous. "Dora, I do not want those penguins to chase us too, because they look super scary when they all run together like that!"
Dora grabbed Boots's hand, and together they ran as fast as they could away from the beach and toward town. Behind them, the penguins kept squawking so loudly that the sound bounced between the trees, making the whole forest feel full of alarm. "Come on, Boots, we need to find Geo Umizoomi right away and tell him exactly what happened before the penguins catch up to Santa Jaws or come after us next!"
Boots panted as his red boots thumped through the snow, but he did not stop running beside Dora. The cold wind brushed their faces, and little clouds of breath floated behind them as they hurried toward help. "I am running as fast as I can, Dora, because Geo always knows how to solve tricky problems, and maybe he can help us scare those penguins away!"
Character Introduction: Geo Umizoomi is a clever, brave helper who loves solving problems with creative ideas.
Geo Umizoomi opened the door just as Dora and Boots rushed into the clearing, breathless and wide-eyed. Snowflakes clung to their clothes, and both of them tried to speak at once until Geo Umizoomi gently raised his hand and listened carefully. "Slow down and tell me everything, because if penguins are chasing Santa Jaws and scaring you both, then we need a smart plan that works fast!"
Dora pointed back toward the beach while Boots nodded quickly, still shivering from fear and cold. They explained how Santa Jaws had been chased across the snow and how the penguins looked too fierce to face alone. "Geo, the penguins were chasing Santa Jaws, and then Boots and I got scared and ran here, because we knew you might have an idea to help us stop them!"
Geo Umizoomi tapped his chin and suddenly smiled as if a light had turned on inside his mind. Dora and Boots looked at him hopefully while the memory of something they had once watched came rushing back. "I remember the purple monkey mission we watched, and I remember how Team Umizoomi friends got scared when tigers appeared, so maybe the penguins will run away if we act like tigers too!"
Boots's fear began to melt into excitement, and Dora's eyes brightened with courage. The snowy clearing no longer felt like a place of panic, but a place where a brave plan was being born. "That is a great idea, Geo, because if the penguins are scared of tigers, then we can be big, loud tigers and protect Santa Jaws together!"
Dora, Boots, and Geo Umizoomi hurried back to the beach and hid behind a mound of snow just close enough to see the penguins. Santa Jaws looked exhausted, his tail swishing anxiously as he tried to keep distance from the flapping flock. "Okay, everyone, remember our plan, and when we jump out, let us roar as loudly as we can so the penguins think real tigers have come to the beach!"
The three friends took deep breaths, raised their hands like paws, and leaped from behind the snowbank with fierce tiger faces. Their shadows stretched long in the moonlight, and their roaring echoed across the icy shore in a way that made them sound much bigger than they were. "Roooaarrr! We are tigers, and this beach is not for chasing our friend, so you penguins better turn around and run away right now!"
The penguins stared at Dora, Boots, and Geo Umizoomi with round, shocked eyes, and for one long second everything stood still. Then the whole flock screamed in fear and ran for their lives, slipping and sliding over the snow as they fled from the roaring tiger act. "It worked, Dora, it worked, because the penguins got scared by our tiger trick and now they are running away as fast as they can!"
Santa Jaws let out a huge sigh of relief and wagged happily in the snow now that the beach was safe again. The cold night suddenly felt cheerful, and the moonlight sparkled like a celebration across the ice and water. "Thank you, my brave friends, because I was so scared when those penguins chased me, and now I can finally smile again!"
Dora threw her hands into the air, laughing with relief and joy after the penguins disappeared into the distance. "Yay! We helped Santa Jaws, and we were brave, and our tiger idea worked just like we hoped it would!"
Boots bounced up and down, Geo Umizoomi grinned proudly, and Santa Jaws gave a happy cheer of his own. Together they celebrated under the stars, their voices warm and bright against the winter air. "Yay!" "Yay!" "Yay!"
Later, Dora hurried home and found her mom waiting inside, where everything felt safe and warm after the icy beach. With bright eyes and animated hands, Dora told the whole story from beginning to end, making the chase, the fear, and the tiger plan come alive again. "Mom, Dora and Boots got scared when penguins were chasing Santa Jaws, so we ran to tell Geo Umizoomi, and then Geo helped us scare the penguins away by being tigers like in the purple monkey mission we remembered!"
Dora's mom listened with amazement and pride as the snowy night settled peacefully outside the window. The adventure had begun with fear, but it ended with teamwork, courage, and a happy friend rescued on the beach. Dora smiled one last time, remembering the penguins running away and everyone cheering together.
