Noah Jutila stood at the microphone, his guitar poised for the first strum. His heart raced as he glanced at the audience, catching Margo's eye for a brief moment. "I hope you all enjoy this," he said, his voice a mix of nerves and excitement.
As Noah sang *I Love You Cute Girl*, Margo felt a blush creeping up her cheeks. The lyrics were sweet, each word a playful note that danced in the evening air. Gru stood by the grill, his gaze shifting suspiciously between Noah and his daughter. "Who is this kid, and why is he singing about love in my backyard?"
Margo approached Noah with a smile, her sisters by her side. "That was really nice," she said, her voice soft but sincere. Noah nodded, his cheeks flushed. "I kinda wrote it… for you," he admitted, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly.
Gru nearly dropped his spatula, his attention fully captured. "For Margo?" he muttered, his eyes narrowing slightly. Lucy nudged him gently, a teasing smile on her face. "Relax, honey. It’s cute. Besides, Margo seems to like it," she reassured him.
Noah watched as Margo and her sisters joined the Minions in an impromptu dance. His heart felt light, a sense of hope blooming within him. "Maybe I do have a chance," he thought, a smile tugging at his lips as he strummed his guitar once more.
Noah packed up his guitar, his mind replaying the events of the night. Margo waved as she headed inside, her smile lingering in his thoughts. Gru gave one last look, a reluctant grin on his face. Perhaps this Noah kid wasn't too bad after all. The night had been a success, filled with music, laughter, and a budding friendship that promised more to come.
