On a warm and bright morning, two siblings, . Laia and Pau , set off on a hike in the forest. The winter had been cold and quiet, with trees bare of leaves and many animals resting in their shelters, waiting for the good weather to arrive. But now, the sun was shining more, the days were longer, and the snow was starting to melt. Spring had arrived.
So many things had changed since their last visit! Pau marveled at the cherry trees covered in pink blossoms, looking like soft clouds of color. Laia pointed out the almond trees in bloom, and with every step, small white and yellow daisies peeked through the grass, welcoming the new season.
Continuing on their path, they heard a beautiful melody. A nightingale, perched on a high branch, was singing a lovely song. Pau asked why it was singing so loudly, and the bird enthusiastically explained that it was time to find a mate and build nests to care for their soon-to-be-hatched chicks.
Further along, they came across bees buzzing from flower to flower. One of them explained that they were gathering pollen to make honey and, at the same time, helping pollinate plants so that more flowers and fruits could grow. The siblings smiled, amazed by the tireless work of these tiny insects.
At the end of the day, they headed home, their hearts filled with joy and new knowledge about spring. They had learned about flowers, animals, and the importance of taking care of the forest. They were already hoping for good weather the next day so they could return and continue exploring the wonders of nature.
