Riya, the diligent Forest Officer, adjusted her cap and smiled down at her companion, the sprightly monkey Chiku. "Today, we have an important task, Chiku—let's count our animal friends and see how they're doing!" she declared, her voice filled with enthusiasm.
Riya peered through her binoculars, spotting a family of elephants by the watering hole. "One, two, three, four, five elephants!" she counted, her pen poised over her clipboard. Chiku clapped excitedly, his eyes sparkling with delight.
Riya's voice was steady as she noted, "Three giraffes over there, and six zebras racing across the plains!" Chiku pointed animatedly to the bushes, where the majestic lions rested. "Two lions, keeping cool in the shade," Riya added with a smile.
Riya chuckled as she counted aloud, "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven—seven parrots!" Chiku danced on her shoulder, thrilled by their progress.
Riya sat down and began to sketch a graph, carefully coloring each column for the animals they counted. "Look, Chiku! Five elephants, three giraffes, six zebras, two lions, and seven parrots," she explained, showing him the colorful chart. Chiku clapped his tiny hands, clearly proud of their work.
Riya addressed her fellow officers, holding up the graph. "This will help us understand our jungle better. With these numbers, we can ensure every creature is safe and content," she proclaimed with a confident smile. Chiku perched on her shoulder, beaming with pride at their achievement.
