Bound and helpless, Ladybug dangled precariously above the surface of the river, her vibrant suit clinging to her skin, still dripping with icy droplets. The rope that held her was frayed, swaying gently as the morning breeze rustled the reeds. Below, the water churned subtly, hinting at the silent menace that waited in the murky depths.
From the depths, a massive crocodile—its eyes cold and unblinking—rose silently, its armored back barely breaking the water. Ladybug's breath quickened as she saw the beast circling, its patience that of a seasoned hunter. The rope creaked ominously, and she kicked and twisted, desperate to avoid the fate that loomed below.
With a heart-stopping jolt, the rope gave way, and Ladybug plummeted straight into the waiting jaws of the crocodile. For a split second, she glimpsed the dark, cavernous throat as she tumbled inside, her scream muffled by water and flesh. The beast snapped its jaw shut and slid back into the river, its ripples vanishing into silence.
Ladybug found herself in a suffocating, burning darkness, her body pressed and squeezed by the beast's insides. The heat was relentless, the acidic liquid searing through her suit and onto her skin. She thrashed and fought, her limbs heavy and her hope dimming with each passing second.
Outside, the crocodile drifted gently, its massive body barely making a ripple as it basked in the morning sun. Inside, Ladybug clawed and pushed against the slick walls, her voice reduced to broken sobs. "Please... someone help me," she whispered, tears merging with the burning liquid as she felt her strength fading.
The heat was unbearable now, and Ladybug could feel her body weakening, the pain sharp and constant. Her suit melted away, exposing her skin to the relentless burn. In the darkness, she wept quietly, her tears lost to the churning stomach, as the world outside carried on in peaceful ignorance.
