Malia the duckling waddled along the edge of the watering hole, her feathers shimmering in the morning sun. Beside her, Ty the moose stood tall, his antlers casting long shadows across the grass.
"Ty, look!" Malia quacked excitedly, pointing with her wing at the group of humans. "What are they doing over there?"
"That's a baptism," Ty explained, his deep voice resonating with wisdom. "It's a special ritual where people show their faith and commitment.,I know it's a significant step in one's spiritual journey."
"Faith? What's that?" Malia asked, tilting her head with curiosity.
"Faith is believing in something bigger than ourselves," Ty said thoughtfully. "It's about finding hope and guidance in life, much like how you trust the sun will rise every morning."
"I think I understand," Malia nodded, her heart feeling lighter. "It's like when I know you'll always be here with me, no matter what."
"Exactly," Ty smiled, nudging Malia gently. Together, they watched the ripples fade, knowing their friendship had grown deeper, enriched by the wisdom of the day.
